The OneWorld International Partners team attended another day of attractions at Speedway in Indianapolis. After 2 years without spectators due to Covid-19, the Indy 500 Miles is preparing to receive another 325 thousand people. Among these people we find inspiring stories of overcoming, as is the case of young Elliot Cox. Elliot is 14 years old and dreams of one day becoming the youngest rider to win the INDY 500.
But Elliot Cox does a different job than just training and thinking about speed, he is a speaker and spends his free time visiting various schools and institutions to promote the “Joseph Maley Foundation“. His focus is on educating young people about dyslexia and showing that determination overcomes any barrier, a situation he knows personally and bears witness to everywhere he can.
When asked about the meeting, our executive director Karla Bledose states:
“We at Oneworld are proud of you Elliot and look forward to seeing you win the INDY 500 very soon!”
