The month of May in Indianapolis is always very busy with the famous 500 mile race, the city attracts thousands of people from all over the world.
Brazilians are loved and known for making history in the Indy 500, since 1911, Brazilians have won on eight occasions, with four different drivers: Emerson Fittipaldi (1989 and 1993), Hélio Castroneves (2001, 2002, 2009 and 2021), Gil de Ferran (2003) and Tony Kanaan (2013).
But it’s not just in the race that Brazil has made history in Indianapolis. This year was the second edition of the International Business Summit, an event organized by Oneworld International Partners that has three pillars: network, business and entertainment.
The event took place at the Columbia Club, one of the oldest and most active business clubs in the world, founded in 1889. In this atmosphere for two days, Brazilian, American, Colombian and French businesspeople met in person to discuss and explore investment opportunities in both countries. countries.
This edition had the support of Brazilian and American companies and the main sponsorship of Manusis4 and Gewählt.
Representatives from the investment, real estate, educational, automobile, technology, health and environmental markets were able to present their projects and interact with each other.
In addition to business activities, participants enjoyed moments of leisure and entertainment, such as Carb Day, where they received a visit from Beatriz Figueiredo, better known as Bia Figueirdo, a professional car driver and Brazilian sports commentator in the event’s private suite. competed in Formula Indy for six years, becoming the first woman to win a race in the Indy Litghs category and in 2014, she also became the first woman to compete in a season of Stock Car Brasil.
On the Saturday before the race, the group enjoyed the Parade Day festival, in the American style with lots of color and music. On Sunday, right in the covered “Paddock” area, businesspeople took part in the exciting Indy 500 race, where they witnessed driver Josef Newgarden’s two-time championship.
